What if Zimmy moves out of the country? Would a civil suit be futile?

What if he just does not appear? What if he is in deep hiding? I'm sure he will not play this out willingly.

Let's talk about their next strategy.

1. Apparently FL law does not allow for a civil suit in this situation.

There were some discussion about this in another thread. Sucks.

3. I think your dead wrong even his lawyers

In there press conference said they will be supporting him in civil court. If that was true he would have said no suit is possible because he's acquitted

5. We are over the SYG hurdle...

Civil suit is on the table....but...Zimmy needs to also be accessible.

4. you cannot be sued for wrongful death in FL

is you are declared not-guilty on the grounds of self-defense. it has nothing to do with SYG. it is just the law.

7. Well....this is the chatter coming out of the cable news today.

The Martin Family attorney and other contributing lawyers. So...maybe they know something we do not.

10. I hope so.

There were many DU "legal experts" in another thread saying a civil case is not allowed in FL in this situation.

11. I know....

that makes it very confusing....but this is what I am hearing on cable networks plus there is an online "Move-On" petition for Attorney General to look at civil rights issues as well.

Let's keep hope alive and see how it plays out.

6. He won't. He can't have his guns anywhere else

Most of the rest of the world is sane. No, he'll stay right in Florida.

8. I soooo hope he does not run.

I wonder who is financially supporting him today? This aspect should be researched.

13. He is free and would appear to have

a clean past port....so acceptance is not an issue.
