Greewald trolled the US government and they bit.. Hard

They aren't going to find anything in all that electronics confiscated from Glenn's partner, the trip and announcements and so forth was strictly a move to trigger exactly what happened.

Greenwald was a good move or two ahead of the spooks, the actual data is on a micro SD card or three headed to Germany by DHL or FedEx or even the Post Office as anonymously as Greenwald and the Guardian can arrange.

You know if we've got to have spooks can't they at least be smart ones? This is twice now in only a few weeks that the spooks have been punked big time.

conspire with the Wikileaks crowd to groom and use Snowden.

So I don't think he's steps ahead of anyone.

Not according to the docs Snowden and Greenwald have released. According to the documents released, GCHQ is the NSA's poodle.

You might recall that Tony Bliar followed Dubya into Iraq although the British should have known better than anyone just how badly that was going to turn out, given that they set it up to be an all but ungovernable disaster to start with.

and got nothing. This is from late June

“When I was in Hong Kong, I spoke to my partner in Rio via Skype and told him I would send an electronic encrypted copy of the documents,” Greenwald said. “I did not end up doing it. Two days later his laptop was stolen from our house and nothing else was taken. Nothing like that has happened before. I am not saying it’s connected to this, but obviously the possibility exists.”

When asked if Greenwald believed his computer was being monitored by the U.S. government. “I would be shocked if the U.S. government were not trying to access the information on my computer. I carry my computers and data with me everywhere I go.”

detailing US electronic surveillance. Especially not the Chinese who monitor their internet closely and would be very interested in GG's skype chats on the subject from Hong Kong..

It just had to be that bad ole US government..Glen told me so!

Yes, all kinds of possibilities exist.

This is no way is any proof that 'they' stole anything from greenwald. Does he have a report filed of the break in? Has he in some way, besides just making talk, no, he says so himself that it is a possibility and yet the story IS about

They already broke into Greenwald's home in June and stole his partner's laptop

He just has to plant that tiny seed and Voila!, he knows how it will grow.

with my partner. He said "Double Sting"...then we talked it over...and thought that wasn't the correct phrase for that operation.

Whatever...we were on your same wave length... There are still some loose threads in there though...but...close enough to what you think to think that there is more to come out there than what the initial reports are. The loose threads..are the question.

He knows that they are being watched and monitored. The laptop stolen from their home after Glenn had emailed him would have tipped them off to that, You would think the idiot who decided to have Mr. Miranda held would know that too.

I had an SD card go through the washer and dryer a few weeks ago, I'd missed it in my pocket when I did the laundry.

It still worked fine after all that, mailing one inside almost anything would be practical.
