Bravo Obama!

"The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat" - Barack Obama, 2007

Well, he's probably not earning the Bravo. Premature of me, like the Nobel.

But bravo majority in House of Commons!

20. OMFG

And people actually scoff when I say this is Bush's 4th term.

Reagan was his hero. GHWB is one of the "thousand points of light." GWB "faced the storm head on"?

I'd ask if I were dreaming, but I can't make shit like this up.

5. Britain just saved our ass

Thank you to the British. You guys are awesome!

It is nice to see they did learn something from Iraq after all.

8. not really - 'Obama Willing to Pursue Solo Syria Strikes'

WASHINGTON ó President Obama is prepared to move ahead with a limited military strike on Syria, administration officials said on Thursday, even with a rejection of such action by Britainís Parliament, an increasingly restive Congress, and lacking an endorsement from the United Nations Security Council.

The intelligence does not tie Mr. Assad directly to the attack, officials briefed on the presentation said, but the administration believes that it has enough evidence to carry out a limited strike that would deter the Syrian government from using these weapons again

10. We shall see, but I would be shocked to see Obama go the Bush route of macho cowboy-ism

He has been consistent in saying he thinks the USA should not act alone, ever since he was a candidate. If even Great Britain, our closet ally and friend on the world stage, won't go along with this, I tend to think that is a slam-dunk for preventing any action, at least for now. But I could be wrong, and Obama could surprise me, granted.

12. There are too many things he said

as a candidate that no longer count, I am sad to say; or at least it seems that way.

11. Let him pitch it out the window of air force one.

Now that would be solo. I want nothing to do with any attacks on Syria.

19. Nothing will ever un-pissoff the worshippers.

They will remain pissed even if everyone falls into line. It's in the nature of those who have appointed themselves 24/7 protectors of ideological orthodoxy.

18. Here's another quote from that guy

"John McCain's campaign has gone even further, suggesting that the best answer for the growing pressures on Social Security might be to cut cost-of-living adjustments or raise the retirement age. Let me be clear: I will not do either,"

It's coming back to me why I thought I was voting for a liberal.
