The anti-recall effort raised 2x 3x the money the recall campaign raised, yet all that NRA money must of gone to kidnapping squads sent to keep all those pro gun control voters from making it to the polls.

SEVEN TO ONE in terms of outside money, and more Democratic volunteers on the ground, in the most difficult of elections to win. And still all for nought.

If this is a culture war, and I truly believe it is one, then perhaps those who have the bile and molar-grinding drive to keep attacking other citizens should at least select a symbol other than firearms, which are so inextricably wrapped up in the Mainstream culture, the Constitution, the continuous History of this nation.

Better yet, try to understand even these more obnoxious people. They didn't shoot up theaters and schools, but they have learned to strike back, often in hatred. And they are unfortunately much better at it.

I'm just sick about this vote - makes me think the counties that want to secede from CO will also vote yes because it too is about guns.

Their actions is like re-inventing the wheel.

From time-to-time I offer some insight or observation to those who disagree with me on guns, not out of arrogance, but out of hope positive change can come about:

This recall is not a big deal; MSM wanted it to be due to its overwhelming pro-ban & control, so look for this story being dropped into oblivion, now.

More importantly, the recall was a WIN FOR THE NRA no matter the outcome. The presence of these 2 Democrats would have kept the fire hot; now, they have to scrounge around for.another "issue." They are always in fighting trim and have been for nigh on two generations. Only the LGBTQ community can match their competence and sophistication. And they have gun-controllers to thank for that.

Colorado Springs has spawned a few miscreants; Scott Walker for one. I was surprised when Morse was elected. I try not to let myself be a hater, but tonight I despise all Republicans.
