BRAVO Shirley Sherrod

Shirley Sherrod, who was a primary target of Andrew Breitbart's criticism, released the following statement on the conservative media icon's death:

"The news of Mr. Breitbart's death came as a surprise to me when I was informed of it this morning. My prayers go out to Mr. Breitbart's family as they cope through this very difficult time."

However, if I were in her position I would probably feel compelled to show dignity and restraint like she did. Even if inside I was saying a different prayer to the Lord.

Thank you Shirley, for showing us how it's done.

(now back to my vulgar evil atheist gravedancing)

I doubt that she sued for the money. She probably sued because she believed it would be the right thing to do. A lot of people look at all lawsuits as cynical attempts to get money. In many instances that is not the case. Lots of lawsuits are filed because someone can't get an apology and winning a case is the next best thing.

of them. This kind of lawsuit has to go forward as a lesson for those who would try to do what Breitbart did...
