JURY RESULTS

A randomly-selected Jury of DU members completed their review of this alert at Wed Sep 18, 2013, 09:02 PM, and voted 1-5 to LEAVE IT ALONE.

Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT and said: Local interest story/shock-spam. Not worth of GD, IMHO.
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: Free speech forum, right?
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: Fucked up? Yeah. Is it the OP's fault? Nope. Just copying some stuff from the story.
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: Nasty bit of news, but nothing in violation of TOS here. And I say this as a lover of all animals. These people are sick, but the poster hasn't crossed any lines.
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: This is a post of a news story from the Huffington Post. I'm sure if HP readers can handle it, so can DU.
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: Disgusting but not a violation

Thank you.

I suggest you humbly accept your little victory. If I see people doing this "in your face" thing, I'll keep that in mind if I am on a jury the next time there is an alert because this is prima facia evidence of "hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top" behavior.

This shows where the bar is set. This is prima facia evidence of GD.

Although that Trash Thread thing is handy.

btw, what is more "hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top" than bestiality?

Given the mention of animals in the jury comments?

Not speaking for other GD Hosts, but that was a story I could have been very happy to have not read.

That said, your method of complaining about the result leaves almost nothing in the OP to actually judge against the SOP, except, arguably, the...whining.
