Fairness?????
"It's about fairness," Boehner and his cronies insist. This is their new excuse.
Are these the same people whose "fairness" towards women has been sorely lacking in terms of income parity and protections from violence?
-- whose "fairness" towards minorities has worked to reinstitute voting restrictions we thought we'd seen the last of decades ago?
-- whose "fairness" towards labor has brought a stranglehold to collective bargaining?
-- whose "fairness" toward non-republicans has claimed ugliness of historic proportions?
-- whose "fairness" toward African-Americans has produced unrelenting smears and obstructions and outright lies against the current president?
Those people? Yeah, those people. And we're supposed to trust them now as they claim this shutdown is about fairness???
It is to weep. Or vomit.
