OReilly told Beck he believes Ted Cruzs opposition to Obamacare is sincere, but at the same time he said compromise is essential for anything to get done and neither side can have the my way or the highway attitude.
OReilly also bemoaned how little people really care about this issue, tying technological distraction to political apathy that allows an elite governing the country doing whatever it wants without much public pushback, which Beck found to be a very depressing, fascistic painting of whats to come.
OReilly said that about half of Americans simply have no blanking clue whats going on. Beck asked him what he thinks is going to happen if Obamacare is implemented and turns into a massive disaster. OReilly responded, Then the Democratic party will be banished for ten to fifteen years, meaning the political fallout will be so great theyll end up in the minority in both the House and Senate, and they wont control the presidency in a long while.

Also, "fascistic"? This man has books published?

(3,088 posts)Watch it play out. If it is, indeed, an abject failure, Democrats will bear the voter's rage for a generation. If it is an overwhelming success, it may be the end of today's republican party. I suspect this is why the right is resisting so fiercely.

Note: This is generally how insurance works anyway.
The Koch brothers with their disgusting vaginal anti-ObamaCare ad want to strangle ObamaCare as a 'post-birth abortion'. The ad and other tactics (a lot of lying) are intended to drive young people away.

(24,692 posts)they would make sure that no republicans voted for it (mission accomplished) and that the liberals on the Supreme Court (with 1 conservative required to sacrifice himself) approve its constitutionality. Then they keep talking about how bad it is, but make sure that they don't get in the way of a Democratic implosion.
That would be what they would do if they really thought ACA would fail and be a boon to GOP politicians. Obviously, that is not what they really believe.
