You should see just the link with 3 spaces inserted so the link shows rather than the image.

Where the heck is is the plain text checkbox we used to have? Phooey!

Anyway, copy, paste and remove the 3 spaces to get the image.

right click on the pic and then select Properties
In the grey box copy the URL Address
right click in this area the Message text:
right click Paste

8. I'm running Firefox on a linux box.

Right clicking produces different results. It's actually faster for me to right-click and open the image in another window/tab then copy, paste the URL displayed in the URL address.

I was referring to whether or not I'd handled the posting part correctly as DU no longer has the post this as text selection box (that I could see) to post links without them becoming hyper-linked. I wanted to show only the text of the link but DU's software has given me a few issues; or my browser's settings with regard to DU software; or my browser, operating system, and other settings with regard to DU software. Pick one, none, all, or pass GO and collect $200. I don't feel like troubleshooting software/hardware issues on my day off.
