Apparently the NSA has had a policy of sucking up all data on everyone everywhere. I find the tapping of the German Chancellor 's phone to be unacceptable and their apparent policy of collecting any and all electronic communications signals to be downright wrong and stupid.
If Snowden did not, as he claims, take secret US Intel to China and Russia then he isn't the traitor I have called him. However his interview in China did cross a line that I find unacceptable.
Buy it would seem the NSA has gone rogue and I commend the president for seemingly being in the process of tightening their leash
Do not construe this as my endorsement of the sickening anti- Obama crowd here. I think he is a great president still dealing wit cheney's mess.

(50,130 posts)It is worse than we thought. Yes, rogue. I don't see how Obama can tighten the leash, really. They will do what they want to do and have demonstrated that.

I agree with your reevaluation.
