I believe she wanted to evoke a metaphor she's created with dead animals in photos with her - one where she demonstrates a willingness to 'slaughter' her opposition.

The horror suffered by that turkey is mild compared to what many wolves faced during the reign of Ms. Palin in Alaska...
I wonder if she ever did a campaign video traveling with one of these wolf bounty hunters?

of my soon ending marriage. This, on the other hand, is good fun and yeah, it never gets old. The stupid in that one is strong.
