You witness a horrifying car wreck so bad you have to pull 4 people out of the car and your next thought is to take a fucking picture and brag about it on Facebook? Yeah that's a normal response

I’d be shook up seeing such destruction... If this was his place he would really be pissed at the inconvenience he would be experiencing at this moment.. Then again all he has to do is pick up his phone and get some people to gather his stuff find a nice place to rent ($10,000 a month) and wait for a remodeling contractor.

Think of the trauma the families on both ends must feel.. No pictures for them!!

Not one needed to go the hospital, they were all cleared at the scene (i.e. everyone was fine).

Just another photo op & event for a Romney to sensationalize.

Because if not, this is one way to build public acclaim prior to a run for office. Without having to, you know, actually serve other people.

Since the driver was "getting out of the car" when the cops arrived.

So yeah, I believed he helped them, but he seems to be dramatizing it.

This REALLY jumped out at me: "the occupant of the home, which was previously struck by a car once before"

Holy shit! Can you imagine having that happen TWICE?

it would be a good Samaritan story - even if he tooted his own horn on his facebook page. People aren't humble anymore. It's a shame. I'm glad he got involved when most people would have stood at a distance and posted pix of the ongoing tragedy and twittered about what was going on.

I know for a fact. I was in a single car accident and had glass embedded in my head, blood running down my face and a busted knee. Not only did no one stop to help but people actively drove around me as I stumbled down the road trying to flag someone down. I walked 1/2 a mile to a service station to get someone to call an ambulance.

People suck.

I'm not particularly new here. I just don't like to post much because when I do, I get personally attacked immediately. It isn't a very friendly place for anyone but liberal democrats.

tell their story.. To begin with experience was way different than yours..

By the way, show me a right wing site or libertarian site which embraces other points of view.

I find it ironic how your Goddess Ayn Rand ended up relying on Govt. towards the end.
Before that, she attacked govt. attempts to advertise the dangers of smoking, which she called
fraudulent and unfortunately for her( She was a smoker)...well you know..

Nov 2013

I'm not at all religious, but Jesus got a couple of things right.

I believe this so strongly that it actually makes it hard to toot my own horn in job interviews.

1“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

2“So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 3But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4so that your giving may be in secret.
