F**k whoever is f***ing with the ACA website.........

I logged in and registered the first week the website was up. I don't know what my income will be for 2014 (as I was not working) and estimated it at $9000 per year. Since PA did not expand Medicaid I was not eligible for any subsidies and my insurance cost would be about $400-500 per month.

Since then I got a job and have been wanting to amend my ACA app showing my projected 2014 income. The only way to do this is to "report a life change". However that capability was not available until November 15. But November 15 came and went and it was supposed to be available in December. I went online December 1, and found it was still not available.

20 minutes ago I went to the site and find that my application does not exist. I tried to log in and found that my ID and password don't exist. I tried to register again and the site freezes.

WTF, WTF

1. Call the 800 number then. No need to set your hair on fire.

Be patient. You've waited this long, right? There's always a solution.

4. That number is a waste...........

I contacted them on the 15th of November. They could do nothing to help me amend my 2014 income. Someone was to call me back in 2-5 days. That was 19 going on 20 days ago.

Prior to that phone call I contacted them near the end of October, someone was to call me back in 2-3 days, that was 7 weeks ago.

9. Did I miss something?

2014 isn't here yet. How can you amend income you haven't gotten yet?

Maybe you need to start over now that the site is greatly improved since it appears you put in inaccurate information.

10. Now that I am employed I can project my income.......

for 2014 The application wanted you to report your income, as I was not employed in October I projected that maybe I would make $9000. But I know now that my income will exceed that amount and with this higher amount I will now be eligible for a subsidy. I was not eligible for a subsidy with the income of $9000.

2. Michael Smirkonish said he created a special emial acct. just for the ACA site

He said he tried to get in and apply so many times that once he finally got in, the site wouldn't let him amend anything using the email address he had originally used to apply with. So he created a new email account and just started over using it.
