"Let's make a deal!" . . . Please come CAPTION Ted Nugent!!!

Ted (The Lost Stooge) Nugent is saying: "Here's the deal. . . . As a board member I will do everything in my power to get the NRA to close the gun-show loophole on gun sales, and all I ask in return is that you close the federal voting loophole, which allows individuals who do not pay federal income tax to vote. . . . Sounds damn fair to me! . . . How could you possibly turn that down???"

The above CAPTION is closely based on the following Media Matters story:

These jokers satirize themselves.

But then, they don't have to "vote" to get their way, just pay a few extra hundreds under the table to their favorite politicians ...

He crapped himself as an adult. He once told an interviewer that he spent a week shitting and pissing himself in order to be able to fail an approaching military induction physical to avoid being drafted during the Vietnam War.

He was having too good a time playing the guitar and didn't want to give up that life to go to Vietnam and patrol for a year. He supported the Vietnam War just so long as it wasn't him who had to go to it.

I can understand shitting your pants to stay out of a war you disagreed with...shitting your pants to stay out of a war you liked is beyond putrid.

Edited to add: Yes. He really did that. Spin magazine voted it 63rd in its list of 100 grossest moments in Rock n Roll http://books.google.com/books?id=HTMuhxamaFEC&pg=PA134#v=onepage&q=nugent&f=false
