This week's Radio show: Tribute to the life of Nelson Mandela with Danny Schechter

This week Making Sense pays tribute to the life of Nelson Mandela. We have on the journalist/author/producer who perhaps knew him best out of anyone in the media, Danny Schechter who had a 40 year relationship with Mandela and a 50 year relationship with the ANC or African National Congress.

The show airs 7pm Eastern time Sunday at the below link and airs Monday at 2pm Pacific time on KCAA 1050am in Inland Empire and the Los Angeles basin in California.

Glad you are having this talk with Mr. Schechter, he's one of the great journalists of our time. I remember his early days in Boston (early 70s) and how he transformed the delivery of news back then on the radio. It changed the way radio news was presented and how I received news back then, it was significant to say the least.

I learned about this film a couple days ago and I am certain it is comprehensive and very informative. I had no idea Mr. Schechter spent so much time involved in Pres. Mandela's history, lost track of Schechter years ago.

I'll certainly give this a listen!

Please let him know that at least one of his old BCN fans is out here stumping for this film...

And Thank You!

I appreciate your journalism as well but I am really excited to see Mr. Schechter back in view. I am sure it will be a great show, not that you haven't had other laudable presentations!
