Cruel and inhuman punishment! . . . Please come CAPTION Forbes's John Tamny!!!!!

John ("Are there no poor houses? Are there no soup lines?" Tamny is saying: "Giving people food stamps is just like handing them poison, it's literally like shooting them in the middle of the forehead. . . . Don't you see, Jessica? If people are starving in the streets, private and religious charities will re-activate and fill in the breach. . . . By handing out food stamp, you are discouraging private and religious charities, which would be like killing the people you're trying to help, like government always does as part of an over-all story in the way of understanding what's indeed going horribly wrong. . .. See?. . . . It's all very clear."

The above CAPTION is somewhat based on the following Media Matters story taken from the Daily Show:

2. CAPTIONing at DU is a creative activity trying to satirize our subjects,. but often we

channel them, having them say what they'd like to say if they thought they could get away with it, having them say something which brings our their hypocrisy or stupidity or cupidity, etc.

3. Yeah, I know

I play sometimes. But that picture looks so much to me like Michael Scott from "The Office", I did it wrong.
