(35 posts)1. We had to install backdoors on all the Network Hardware we produced.
As a US manufacture.
Of course, we thought that they would only be used in conjunction with a valid warrant that conformed with the 4th amendment.
This is especially bad for US tech firms as the US Gov has cut all our collective throats. There is no way that any serious business can consider our offerings without considering how vulnerable they will be to competitive secrets being stolen.
I do not think we can recover from this unless serious change is made. President Obama must step in and correct this intolerable situation ASAP.
