Original title: With the approval rating of Catholicism on the rise, Cardinals gather and strut for a photo op

To ALL our friends on the DU:

As the baby New Year ages we wish the best for ALL of you. Good health, a safe & happy home, a few extra $ in your pocket, hope, and food on the table.

To rejoice in knowing Obamacare will save countless lives.

A wish for a quick extension of the unemployment benefits that can provide for millions of homes and the homeless.

To fight to increase Social Security and Medicare.

To a time when the troops come home.

To expand green energy that doesn't pollute the planet we ALL live on.

Feel free to add your thoughts for the NEW Year in a reply.

The photo below was taken last night at dusk. It is our card for all of you. It represent the happiness taking care of others brings to progressives.

Peace to you ALL,

Steve and Marta

saw one in the wild. When she passed, I fairly tripped over them. Funny how that all works.

To use our back yard to shoot bird photos. We turned him down. It would drive the dogs nets, and the Pileated Woodpecker is hard enough to get a glimpse of without another person in the area.
