The records here in the Dayton area are 108/-28. Don't think we will be close to the record low.

in Maryland, in the regional Baltimore/DC metro area, the all-time record low going back to the 1880's was -7 F. I would be interested in the record lows are for populated areas.

Actually, turns out, the record hi for Ala. is only 40 miles from me..

They are saying -17 on Monday night, but that's about it.
Weather underground has some interesting data on record highs/lows for various cities across the US...

the impending cold snap.
