Candy Crowley Asks Scott Walker: "Why Would Anyone Who Is Unemployed - Become A Republican?"

Crowley asked Walker about the GOP’s positions on both minimum wage and unemployment benefits. Taking on the persona of an American who takes advantage of these programs, Crowley asked, “Why would I become a Republican?”

“How do you message that in any way to reach out to those who are disinclined to sign up for the Republican Party?” she asked.

“Because, in the end, what people want is freedom and opportunity,” Walker replied. “You don’t get that through the mighty hand of the government.”

“That’s not an uncommon argument for many Republicans,” Crowley followed up. “What makes this expand the Republican Party which desperately needs to bring in something other than what’s really been a shirking base in your party? How do you re-sell that message?”

Bush administration but of course blames Obama for him having to sell the business and since he has not come up with a decent job it is really Obama's fault. Why does he vote for the GOP's, because they are anti-abortion, forget the fact they take care of the 1% of which he is not and the fact they fight against folks like him all the time.

is what people want is freedom and opportunity. They POUND the message into the empty heads who then thnkk they live in some repressed nation. They begin to actually think they DONT have freedon and opportunity.
The truth is the GOP has NOTHING to offer ANY person to join their party. All who do feel they have accomplished ALL they have ALONE, without any assistance from the outside. Another false assumption on their part. And their downward spiral continues,,,,,

The GOP is the party of the rich and the policies favored by the GOP only help the rich. It is shocking that lower income voters continue to vote for the GOP given that the GOP policies are harmful to their interests

Put me down as shocked, shocked that Candy even dared to ask these questions of the great Scut Wanker, Governor of Wisconsin.

Any Repub worth anything knows that the correct answer is that Republicans promise a stronger economy that will create millions of new jobs.

At least that's what any Repub would have said a generation ago. No more. Not when they're in bed with the globalist free-traders on Wall Street. The fact that you never hear that kind of talk anymore tells you that today's Republicans are not your father's Republicans.

Yeah the freedom to starve and the opportunity to live in a cardboard box.

I'm really getting sick knowing my tax dollars pay for salaries for people like this..
