So by shutting everyone that doesn't agree with him up, he now can claim 'everyone agrees' with him.

That's just how the right works, it's a faux consensus, but repetition has won elections for the GOP.

Largely due to Rush and why they bow to him when they aren't on their knees bowing to the Koches.
