For wild fires is usually a summer-fall pursuit. I am debating just the computer or taking the bloody scanner today.

Inciweb has a couple in north cal into the hundreds of acres, they are in the real back country, but that should be a story too. Wild fires in January, yup.

Locally the fire folks are warning people already.

On the bright side, the east coast is starting to thaw, hubby worked overtime overnight processing mail.

and I have to say the last two days have been awfully damn cold, but not unbearable. Just can't have any flesh exposed for more than a couple of minutes. This afternoon I was outside on lunch break, facing into the wind, and my forehead got painfully frozen. Gave me a mild headache for about 15 minutes.
