Upholding the Second Amendment while representing the people.

Rep. Leslie Combs' (D-Pikeville, Kent.) gun went off in her government office.

That incident happened just before the State of the State address delivered by Governor Steve Beshear.

Apparently she never learned how to safely load and unload the weapon. She needs to learn before she picks up a firearm again.

Translation: She did not know that removing the magazine does not necessarily mean the gun is unloaded.

She's going to switch to a revolver. That won't help if she does not keep her finger off the trigger until she intends to shoot her weapon.
