MSNBC's Thomas Roberts moving to the "Way too Early" slot

I really like Thomas Roberts, so was kinda sad to hear him announce he was taking over "Way Too Early" starting Monday (5:30am ET, 2:30 PT)

Not sure if this is generally considered a good thing for him, but gonna be much harder to watch him here in the West Coast.

he is getting this slot in preparation to host the Morning Joe program..otherwise
he was stepping on too many toes by demanding the truth from guests ...

Pretty much what what Willy Geist (sp) did, I think. We'll see.

for some honest/serious journalism are in store for us!

At the very least, Roberts strikes me as someone who wouldn't be afraid to call Joe on his bs.
