My annual three minutes of Fox was a hoot!

I can never understand how people can watch Fox News for any length of time to report "OMG [insert some crazy Hannity nonsense]" but once every couple of months or so my wife and I play a game of "watch Fox until someone says something stupid". It usually takes less than a minute.

Bill O'Reilly's angle on Christie was pretty funny, though, but he sent me rolling into laughter in a discussion with Geraldo Rivera in which he said something approximating:

"Look, he had a bad person on his staff! We've all had problems with staff members!"

Yeah Bill, especially the ones who don't want to get into the shower with you and a falafel!

Billy's got this thing all figured out. The US attorney looking into this is a Democrat. Therefore, the result of any investigation will be corrupt.

1. no "advisor" did this on her own, and the email points to a planned operation. There will be

criminal and civil charges before this is over

2. Yes I'm aware of that

My comment was about lack of self awareness in Fox's alternate reality.

4. Fox in total lacks any sense of irony I find a similar quality in most conservatives.

People who self proclaim they are Conservatives seldom have any sense of irony. CNN takes about 15 minutes to meet the criteria of saying something ridiculous. Fox News for about 15 minutes provided me with the best entertainment I have ever seen on cable news election night 2012 when Rove and his meltdown on Fox News.

5. I did tune in for that

The moment it was called for Obama, my wife reluctantly allowed me to take a peek, and we got to see Rove do his Trading Places "Turn the machines back on!" routine.

The other thing I had forgotten, having been used to watching the Colbert version of "Talking Points" in which the text is his subconscience, is that O'reilly scrolls the actual text of what he's saying. Wtf is the point of that? Does his audience include deaf people who haven't figured out how to turn on closed captioning?

7. I know you are aware, and exposing the insanity at fox. You have a far stronger stomach than I do.

I could not even watch 1 minute of the garbage

3. You should have seen the night he had

Dr. Ablow on, talking about how addictive texting is, like heroin, and since pot is legal in some places, kids will get as addicted to that as they are to texting! They're both as bad as heroin, really!

John Stewart covered it brilliantly!

6. Honestly I can't watch him for more than a minute or two

Ablow has been in a number of clips propounding the most bizarre things.
