If President Obama had closed a bridge for political payback, Fox News would have had wall-to-wall coverage of the issue with multiple Republicans calling him a tyrant who must be removed from office. Leading Republicans would have called for him to resign from office in order to save the integrity of the office of the White House. Republicans like Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz would hold rallies that would feature them and their supporters holding brooms, mops, and bleach along with signs reading "It is time to clean out the White House". At the opening of business in the House of Representatives Articles of Impeachment would be introduced and voted on as soon as legally possible. When the impeach effort passes the House of Representatives Republicans would demand Harry Reid immediately bring the impeachment issue to a vote in order to prevent the United States from falling into banana Republic status. If Reid refuses to bring impeachment to a vote he will be compared to the worst people to ever walk the face of the Earth.
