Gladwell portrays examples from marketing, medicine, literature, politics, and other spheres that show basic moves and conditions that can transform a small change into a huge awakening.

of Dog. But if you look closely these self appointed censors arent against all conspiracy theories, only those that they dont like. CT about how Snowden gave secrets to the Russians is given a pass by the CT righteous posse. So are CT about the stolen elections in 2000 and 2004. And recently there are two or three theories about different conspiracies regarding the closing of lanes on the GWB. Those are ok, but heaven help you if you post something about what's happening in Fukushima or what might have happened to Michael Hastings.

Seems to me that there are five or six DU posters that do most of the CT alerting. They seem to be dedicated to control what the rest of us get to discuss.

And another thing, there are no excuses for DU posters to bully hosts. The hosts are volunteers and doing their best to implement the rules. Those that cant respect that need to take it too ATA.

As more and more light begins to shed on Fort Lee and New Jersey as a whole, Chris Christie is floating in seriously hot water. I'm personally a believer that the Governor is finished, the threshold has already been reached. If its true that his administration is attempting to block commerce and construction in the small town on Ft Lee for whatever reason, it DESTROYS the republican argument of pro growth. It confirms "growth for me" not for thee.

He was great yesterday on UP. I thought he brought up an interesting point no one else is addressing. Christie said he had never EVER been lied to by any of his staff, thus his extreme shock, etc. Kornacki brought up an education appointee a few years ago, whose committee lost a huge federal grant for NJ schools; after that happened, Christie ended up firing the man for "lying" to him, though the man later proved he had not lied... Christie's pattern is bald-faced lying, time and time again.

Who are acitizen activists. They are seriously disappointed in Corey Booker.

There was an incident a few years ago--a major out and out brawl that took place in town hall. Had to do with him appointing someone to a position when he didn't have a consensus. That was when I learned about Corey Booker's ways.

Anyway, my point, however, is that no matter how disappointing these political elections go, we can have an abrupt change of events such as what has happened here. Yes, Christie has been bullying for years...but it caught up to him. That can happen to any of them no matter what their schtick is.

And then we play out the process and "Buh-bye."

I think for me, one of the most satisfying things about this scandal is I am getting to see Loretta Weinberg "get hers." She is chairing one of the two investigatory committees in the Senate.

"Time for some...."

discover that Rachel didn't actually destroy Christie. And in fact, there won't be any real consequence to any of this. One need to remember a few short years ago when we were certain that Fitzgerald was going to be prosecuting Cheney, Rove et al. he did manage to prosecute Libby... but in the end, there was no justice and there won't be any justice regarding anything Christie has done. He will survive this. He might have to step down as Gov., but I'd be shocked if even that occurred. I have no doubt he will survive this.

He'll serve out his term. The whole point is being able to safely set aside the only republican candidate that has shown the ability to win an election with moderate and left leaning votes. They have nobody else who can do this. Jersey voted for him, they can keep him if they like but this story has national implications which are the ones I'm concerned with.

I'm thinking that there will be another popular "moderate" that will be selected as "contender" , no doubt already in the works and preparations to trot her out will be presented to the stage soon enough. This would have died in a small local paper if she hadn't picked up on it. The reporter who broke the story back in September was on Lawrence O'Donnell last night, so I'm glad she's getting the recognition she deserves. My niece lives in Fords, NJ which is not all that far from Fort Lee. Both she & her husband had NO idea about this story when I told them about it over the holidays, so it sounds like it hadn't hit any news media outside of Fort Lee. I explained it to them and told them to brace themselves when they got back home...they were blown away. Neither one of them is a Christie supporter (he's a fire-fighter), so they're loving this whole thing. Aside from the obvious (watching a bully getting his butt handed to him is priceless!) the BEST part of this whole thing for me is that it pretty much knocks him out of 2016, and since he was their big "star", the rethugs are going to have to scramble HARD to find a candidate that will appeal to anyone besides the Tea Party, and good luck with that one.
