FEMA Brings Water to Residents Affected by Water Ban

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) continues work in Charleston after a chemical leak Thursday.

Friday, President Barack Obama signed an emergency declaration for federal disaster assistance to West Virginia to supplement state and local response efforts.

Direct federal assistance is currently available for Boone, Cabell, Clay, Jackson, Kanawha, Lincoln, Logan, Putnam and Roane counties to alleviate the impacts of the emergency.

Cincinnati to shut intakes as a precaution

Hopefully this will get cleaned up soon and Chemical companies start getting their storage facilities Inspected! It would have been so nice to have found the leak before hand. If they weren't having it done to save money.. well, look at how much money this is going to cost them!
