So I have this Police Detective patient who

when I mentioned the Christie business he IMMEDIATELY told me that in one of the New England states...he couldn't EXACTLY remember which one, Hillary's people kept people from getting to the polls during some primary up there. And so: "this is how it's done by everyone".

My reply was: so you're an admirer of Hillary, eh?

The conversation sort of went downhill from there... I held my ground for a change.

My point is I guess, is that when you see that there's a statistic or poll that sys that 60% have unchanged feelings about him, that it implies that people who really hate the guy can't hate him any more. My feelings about Christie haven't changed one iota. If he were found to be a serial killer my feelings about him wouldn't change. Sorry...this is how I feel about people like him, given my background and youth experiences.

there was that Hillary's people kept people from getting to the polls? Or if the guy was a Fox New viewer? I would not make any assumptions one way or the other as to the accuracy of the claim because we have seen the wild claims leveled against Obama. And if the guy was a Fox News viewer I would definitley take what he said with a grain of salt.

cops in general have a very dim view of the "big man". They feel he lied to them about police benefits and pensions. Told them he wouldn't touch them during the campaign and then set out to change the system once elected. Usually you can get the "Susquehanna Hat Company" reaction from a policeman when you bring his name up.

many cops hate anyone left of Attila the Hun. They had to shut down the Philly website for police due to extreme views expressed there.

unless you've actually been subject to living under Nero's rule you might still believe in the TV character he plays. And you're right. Most cops I've known tend to be a tad on the conservative side. If being authoritarian Nazis is considered a tad.

tell them that wrong is wrong, no matter how many people are doing it. I am sick and tired of hearing that pathetic argument.
