Politicians love to make it appear as though there's a groundswell of support for them to seek higher office, whether there is or not. Then they can do their worst George Washington impersonations and reluctantly step into the fray.

which puts a huge dent in his presidential aspirations. So I guess his smartest recourse for now is to hold on to what he's got -- his governorship.

That's only her opinion. Mybe he knows his ass is in hot water also there are so many skeletons in his closet he might not want them out

down in Florida. These guys aren't your run-of-the-mill Fox News gawker. They lost money in the last election, so imagine their feelings around a new guy with 20 subpoenas going out to his staff. Even questions whether Christie would be considered as getting served, as well.

The Republicans are in a world of hurt. Especially since Christie is the Lead Guy for the Republican Governor's Group...imagine they aren't excited right now.
