dear media, what are the facts in new jersey?

seems like the facts should be fairly easy to ascertain.

how much sandy relief has hoboken received relative to other cities in new jersey?

not rocket science, well, maybe for our media it is.

You are equally unlikely to get actual facts from a blog.

in each town along the coast that was affected. I am sure Hoboken deserved to get a large percentage of the pie. Not only does Hoboken's square mile have a far more concentrated population than your average boardwalk/shore town but it surely generates many time the trade and tourist dollars for the state.

Also, Hoboken is an important transportation hub for commuters working in New York. For a tiny city it is a very important part of our state.

relative to other cities ... but how much and from what sources. I understand (from MSNBC reporting) that the vast majority of the $70 Million that Hoboken received was from sources that Christie had no control over.

unless the DOJ gets involved and get into the investigation. The media for the most part will play both sides of the fence but they are aligned with Christie and they will not do the hard hitting

follow the money and campaign contributions of the Rockefeller Group who was going to spearhead the development in Hoboken...the ties will be obvious between all the players, They usually believe they are above the law because they have the power

"The mayor, Dawn Zimmer, hasn’t approved the project, but she did request $127 million in hurricane relief for her city of Hoboken – 80% of which was underwater after Sandy hit in October 2012. What she got was $142,000 to defray the cost of a single back-up generator plus an additional $200,000 in recovery grants."
