I just like that this was a father speaking to his son. It's nice.

Reminds me of how my dad was with my brothers. The way my brothers are with women and how they've raised their sons.

And lastly, the way my husband taught my son. I never had to say anything.

7. You know the Monty Python song "every sperm is sacred?"

There are some guys -- and even some gals -- who seem to believe that "every erection is sacred." How long have men tried the "it's all your fault I'm in this condition" argument -- as if being sexually aroused was a life-threatening condition. What amazes me is that we've gotten away with it for so long.

It's not like a normal, relatively healthy guy doesn't get an erection every two minutes as it is. Just hang on a little, fellas -- it will come up again.

10. And even here on DU, there are those who stubbornly insist that men's behavior is

the fault of women.

I think in any group, there will be men who think this way. In those cultures you speak of, they have been allowed to hold sway, which is horrible.

Buncha freakin' babies.

Though in my most recent conversation on DU where a guy said men's behavior was the fault of women, the guy who was saying it was pretty insistent.

that my body would cause men to sin.

I was lucky with my parents. I've been more than lucky, fortunate really, with me husband, and he has taught our boys well.

I LOVE it when a father has these discussions with their sons and when a mother does so with her daughters. I wish all parents would be this way.

I like the way they filled in the rest of the sentence here. But what's in my subject line is my immediate response.
