like listing the event along with a clear spoiler warning in the subject, and then putting the result in the message body, was standard.
Probably should be some expiration to that - maybe talk freely the day after something has happened, I guess...

It's getting on toward noon at the venue by 3 AM, so it's a long delay between event times and evening broadcasts.

He heard the score on his shortwave radio and told me hours before the game aired on TV in the States.
