(135,425 posts)They'd be better off picking one of the three who has the ability to show up, and who knows the school, rather than someone who agrees to stand for the position in a bid to keep his name in the headlines.
It would also help the students, I should think, to have someone who graduated high school and completed college, too.

Sounds like they want him to build up a residency there to establish himself.
Hey, if Glenn Beck can do it and Liberty University can do it...well you get the idea.
