Republican Ally Says Wendy Davis' Bio Wouldn't Be An Issue If She Were A Man

Republican Ally Says Wendy Davis' Bio Wouldn't Be An Issue If She Were A Man

“If this involved a man running for office, none of this would ever come up,” Haskins told the Star-Telegram.

“It’s so sad. Every time I ran, somebody said I needed to be home with my kids. Nobody ever talks about men being responsible parents.”

“They wouldn’t be talking about Wendy if she weren’t a threat," she added.

I cannot wait for her to be our new governor! Some states are in crisis over having a worthless governor or worse, a criminal one.

8. The Republicans view of women was in a large part to blame for their loss in 2012

They just couldn't keep their woman haters quiet and a lot of women learned where they stood with them. As a result women voted en mass, and not for Romney. Things tend to work a bit differently on a state level, but they're still taking a risk by attacking things in Wendy they'd praise in a man. Women tend to be smarter than the GOP give us credit for.

from a GOP is why I say the GOP males club in Austin is about to get their ass handed to them. Anytime you get as many women show up in July to protest a vote you know the voters are engaged and upset. Last time folks were this mad, we got Ann Richards.

If the dems spend the next nine months registering every person they can find, making sure the paperwork is right, and making sure they get to the polls, Wendy will win.

Texas is already blue, its people just don't know it.

Sometimes the hypocrisy is so obvious, even other Republicans can see it. Glad Haskins is pointing this out.
