LOL!!! Republican Party Demands Investigation Into NSA Spying

Republican Party Demands Investigation Into NSA Spying

In the latest indication of a growing libertarian wing of the Republican party, the RNC "passed a resolution Friday calling for an investigation into the "gross infringement" of Americans' rights by National Security Agency programs that were revealed by Edward Snowden," Time reports.

The measure passed by an "overwhelming majority" by voice vote and declares "the mass collection and retention of personal data is in itself contrary to the right of privacy protected by the Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution."

and the Repugs were saying "If you're not doing anything illegal, you have nothing to worry about." No calls for impeachment (or even investigation/slaps on the wrist) at the time the "small government" Repugs were in charge of everything.

Now it's more or less legal, albeit unethical (anyone say "Repug views on abortion?&quot , and they want Obama lynched (figuratively speaking) for it ...

It's wrong and people on both the left and the right know it is wrong. Sitting around and trying to defend it is going to make the Democrats look bad.

Do we circle wagons around malignant, predatory policy, just because Republicans are claiming to oppose it now? Because that's how the corporate game is supposed to be played. That's how they keep the same predatory policies going from administration to administration, no matter which party is in power.

All Americans should oppose spying. It's well past time to stop letting them divide us. Their greatest fear is that Americans will stop hating the other team more than we care about this country, and unite as the 99 percent against what they are doing to us.

.... not to worry.

I had no idea it would be so much fun watching them freak out about a "Black Kenyan Socialist" running the show.

Note: Hitlery would be their term thrown back in their faces.

Unless Dem's get in front of this. It will resonate with many people regardless if it's bullshit or not. In my view, it should be the Dem's leading the charge on this.
