GOP Women Need To Pay For Having Sex/But Men Get Viagra Free

The GOP message is that women should be paying for having sex by paying for their own birth control or not have sex at all. Yet men should get their viagra prescription covered on their insurance.

When will enough be enough and when will women really revolt against these Neanderthals.

That way they can screw around as much as they want with little chance of knocking someone up.

They would be pushing for free contraceptives.

since they have the money, but it's not easily accessible for the average woman. Same thing with abortions. When common folk had to seek illegal back alley abortions, there were always docs around that would manufacture paperwork to do a "legal" one for the right price. If not totally above board, at least in sanitary conditions.

Which means they form their political allegiance on more than one subject. Whether or not you agree with such allegiance is a separate issue entirely.

Conservative women do not see the issue the same way as you or I. They do not see anti-abortion or anti-contraception as anti-woman because the entire structure of their ideology, really, their perception of reality differs from progressives.

I wonder why Huckabee didn't have a gazillion kids if birth control is so bad. They either had no sex or someone controlled something.

which we don't.

Condoms, btw, are not just preventing conception, but prevent disease and thus work to the advantage of both parties and society in general-- an additional argument for free distribution.

It could be argued that viagra fixes a physical problem and brings enjoyment to both partners while contraceptives interfere with a natural process and work to the advantage of just one. Not my argument, but if you want free contraception, better have an answer.

When arguing for free contraception, and it's a good argument, it may be better to not make it simply a female argument. Sounds whiny.

not always "free" free, and often only in cities, but free condoms do exist.

But I'm not apologizing for the "whiny" comment. This is a social problem fundamentally affecting everyone and any time anyone takes a huge social problem and makes it about themselves there is the risk of turning off a large part of those who would be on your side.

But, you know that. You just choose to make your argument your way.

birth control is always about two people, and THREE if an unwanted baby is born

should be happy and disadvantage her partner. There is nothing more than a downer for a man than a happy unpregnant woman.

And yes. As a female. I will make the argument that free contraceptives are a priority. Including condoms. Because, despite the cliche of a man having one handy, they rarely do and the burden of birth control lies mostly on women.
