Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky Sunday called former President Bill Clinton predatory for his 1996-1997 liaison with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky.
Paul, a potential 2016 GOP presidential nominee, also said that the Democrats argument that Republicans are waging a War on Women by opposing coverage for birth control in Obamacare and by opposing abortion is undercut by the memory of Bill Clinton as a sexual predator.
One of the workplace laws and rules that I think are good is that bosses should not prey on young interns in their office. And I think really the media seems to have given President Clinton a pass on this. He took advantage of a girl that was 20 years old and an intern in his office. There is no excuse for that, and that is predatory behavior
.. Then they (Democrats) have the gall to stand up and say, Republicans are having a war on women.
He added, Its not Hillarys fault, but it is a factor in judging Bill Clinton in history.
He added with Bill and Hillary Clinton, Sometimes its hard to separate one from the other.

(16,245 posts)And it's now 2014. Rand, you need some new material. A lot of people voting now don't even remember this.
As for predatory behavior, well, let's just say that Republicans have their share of that as well.

(32,006 posts)I was listening to Mark Levin's show one day and heard him say something along the lines of "the Democrats elect the most perverts in office like Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Spitzer, Weiner..." Yep that's the favorite right wing talking point (besides "ABORTION IS MURDER" to the Democrats' "War on Women" concept that uses indisputable facts about the Religpublican platform.

It was a non issue in 2008, and I doubt that it will be an issue in 2016.
I also think that people are smart enough to know that couples involve to separate human beings. Hillary has always been her own person. It is so sexist to conflate the behavior of the husband on the wife.
