Rand Paul says Bill Clinton 'predatory' behavior undercuts Democrats' 'War on Women' rhetoric

Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky Sunday called former President Bill Clinton “predatory” for his 1996-1997 liaison with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

Paul, a potential 2016 GOP presidential nominee, also said that the Democrats’ argument that Republicans are waging a “War on Women” by opposing coverage for birth control in Obamacare and by opposing abortion is undercut by the memory of Bill Clinton as a sexual predator.

“One of the workplace laws and rules that I think are good is that bosses should not prey on young interns in their office. And I think really the media seems to have given President Clinton a pass on this. He took advantage of a girl that was 20 years old and an intern in his office. There is no excuse for that, and that is predatory behavior….. Then they (Democrats) have the gall to stand up and say, ‘Republicans are having a war on women.’ ”

He added, “It’s not Hillary’s fault, but it is a factor in judging Bill Clinton in history.”

He added with Bill and Hillary Clinton, “Sometimes it’s hard to separate one from the other.”

And it's now 2014. Rand, you need some new material. A lot of people voting now don't even remember this.

As for predatory behavior, well, let's just say that Republicans have their share of that as well.

I guess he was out to lunch when she was a US Senator and Secretary of State. Seems like its pretty easy to separate her career from her husband's.

I was listening to Mark Levin's show one day and heard him say something along the lines of "the Democrats elect the most perverts in office like Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Spitzer, Weiner..." Yep that's the favorite right wing talking point (besides "ABORTION IS MURDER&quot to the Democrats' "War on Women" concept that uses indisputable facts about the Religpublican platform.

Just to name two weasels who are still in office. Furthermore, Sanford was elected to the House after his resignation as governor of SC and Vitter wants to run for governor of LA.

Based solely or primarily on what her husband does is, um, part of waging a fucking war on women?

Kind of hard to separat the two? What a sexist shit.

He was asked about it and the above was his response.

It was a non issue in 2008, and I doubt that it will be an issue in 2016.

I also think that people are smart enough to know that couples involve to separate human beings. Hillary has always been her own person. It is so sexist to conflate the behavior of the husband on the wife.
