It had a similar majestic view of Mt. Hood. One of the most beautiful scenes on earth and definitely not an easy place to find.

It's not that way anymore.

I didn't know we had a lake here named Trillium Lake. I'll have to google it. Trillium is my favorite flower, second only to the dogwood. Both beauties of the Oregon forests.

which is completely different. Trillium around here (Western MA) is a deep red color and is beautiful in profusion. Illegal to pick or transplant (endangered?), but seems abundant.
