It is not until I watch 1950's noir films and tv shows from that era that I realize how much people smoked back then.

So did my Mom. So did I. And my sister. We ALL quit after that - years ago. It should scare the bejeesus out of people. It scared us into quitting. And as addictive and deadly as that shit is, it's STILL legal. And the same PR tactics and marketing psy-ops that were used to keep these goddamned things on the market all these years, are used for damn near everything else that is destructive and against the public's best interests - the GOP and the Tea Party/Kochs are very familiar with these tactics. Because unfortunately - they work.
But....cannabis is illegal. Nowhere near as addictive or deadly.
We're one effed-up society here. And stupid.
