It does give the Democrats a little leverage, though, at least to block legislation such as the afore mentioned vaginal probes. But it does little to advance Democratic proposals.

having said that, controlling the Senate is a HUGE plus. (And once again, thanks to that band of drooling, knuckle-dragging, fundy dipshits who put E. W. Jackson on the Repug ticket for Lt. Governor. We couldn't have done it without you!)
