Is Michele Bachmann getting ready to run again?

Sure sounds like it. She is out there everywhere.

She and Palin. I wish they would just go away. They make women look like bubbleheads. I can hardly stand to even look at Palin anymore.

running for her House seat (MN CD-6). She barely got elected in her own district, winning by only about 1% in a heavily Republican district. Where the hell is she planning to run?

Bye, Michele! Hope I don't see you ever again.

Fox News is calling. Of course, Michele only speaks Wordsaladish, so that's not going to work out well, I think.

she might have to change her mind.

Besides, "professional, perpetual candidate" is actually a good way to make a very nice living. It keeps your name out there for very little cost, and you can parlay that into speaking fees after the election. Manufactured right wing outrage has become a multi-billion dollar industry and this is a very good way to claim your share of that. I'm guessing we will see Palin, Gingrich, and Bachmann in the primaries for exactly that reason.

It isn't about winning the nomination any more.

I just can't imagine that she thinks she has a chance at running again. Who would finance her? She is such a long shot.

I think that's the point of keeping them out in public, to make women look stupid and having nothing valuable to contribute to any conversation or policy-making. Remember, the war on women, they'll use anything and everything that reinforces the stereotype of women are stupid and can't be responsible for the silly things they do or say. And these two make that point for them, just set up a camera and a mic, wind them up and let 'em go.
