Deport Bieber petition nears success

The White House petition to deport Justin Bieber is more than halfway to success, surging beyond 70,000 signatures as of noon Tuesday and putting it well on pace to reach the 100,000 needed to earn an official response.

At noon, the petition had 70,702 signatures, and there are more than three weeks to go until the Feb. 22 deadline, making it almost certain the petition will be successful in earning the right to have the White House
respond.

Experts have debated back and forth whether Mr. Bieber, a Canadian pop music singer, could have his visa revoked after being arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in a drag race last week.

Some Americans wanted to get an answer straight from the White House, so they filed an official petition with President Obama’s “We the People” project.

“We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture,” the petition says.

“We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nations youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society.”

It would be funny if it happened, but I really don't think it will. We're probably stuck with his stupid ass.

Granted Bieber is no Lennon but still...

I have my thoughts on John Lennon, that is besides the point.

The guy needs help, I see this petition of deporting him a joke, and can only make him worse.
Hopefully he shapes up.

Why should we tolerate him? I think he is an undesirable with his behavior so let him go rot in the rest of the world. We got enough assholes who we HAVE to keep.

His mother gets him the Xanax, his father blocks roads so he can drag race drunk. This kid doesn't have a chance with parents like that.

It does have some cultural xenophobia attached rejecting the Belibers as you pointed out.

He is here legally. Only can be deported if you commit a crime of "moral turpitude." No, DUI is not it. And no egging a house doesn't meet the standard either.

My tween granddaughter rolls her eyes and pronounces him "over" and her little sister solemnly nods in agreement. They have moved on to One Direction for several months now. The Beibs needs to take a look at the careers of those like him who have gone before.

can get their sheriff buddies to start arresting more "people who don't look very American". Of course not all right wingers will sign on because Beiber is both rich and white.
