Mitt Romney Insults Local Pittsburgh Bakery: 'I Don't Know About These Cookies'
By Sara Dover
on April 19 2012 12:21 PM

All Bethel Bakery wanted was to welcome Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney to its Pennsylvania town with some locally-made cookies.

Instead, the gaffe-prone candidate inadvertently insulted the plate of baked goods that was presented to him at a campaign stop in Bethel Park on Wednesday, guessing it was from a convenience store.

I'm not sure about these cookies. It doesn't look like you made them. Did you make those cookies? No... they look like they're from a local 7-Eleven bakery or whatever, Romney told one of the voters he sat down with at a meet-and-greet event, according to video published by ABC affiliate WTAE Pittsburgh.

he is a good man doing an impossible job. Impossible job because of republicon/teabilly opposition to anything he tries to do.
Gotta love him for having the fortitude to even hang in there.

that openly say they will never work with this POTUS! Of course I expect nothing less from scum sucking GOPers.

I dare say he will be remembered as one of the best POTUSes we've ever had. Despite the rank and racist hatred from the Right.

But am very glad he does and doesn't go into a puffed up rage like some want him too.

I think his strength comes from his loving family, his great friends and from all the people out there that he knows supports and loves him too.

The nasties are just pieces of small shit to step over but sometimes it seems like there is always a mine field of them waiting for him.
