This meme is 2 hours old. Since then, at least 350 folks have signed the WV petition, which we DO appreciate! However, in the previous ten days, the petition did gather less than 500 signatures. It took three days for the Bieber petition to cross 100k, which means that the White House will respond to it at some point in the near future.

Let me be very clear here. There is only a limited amount of stuff that the EPA can do when a State government is taken over by whack-a-doodles voted into their office by their constituents, who then oppose everything they do.

The Bieber thing is clearly not serious and it shows that the internet is still largely not taken seriously. But frankly, part of the problem I see with many members of my own party is that they try very hard to keep Republicans from suffering the consequences of their own votes. Which leads people into thinking that voting for Republicans is perfectly fine.

There is a point where, no matter how compassionate you are, you just have to let people wallow in their own decision making. If you don't, they'll never learn.

Tough love for GOP voters. It's a hard lesson that must be taught.
