Users of Android Tablets are you having issues?

For our anniversary last year I got my wife a tablet so that she can play games she likes. She isn't into xbox or playstation games but she likes those match 3 and hidden object games and wanted to play them on something portable.

So I got her an android extreme (Yes, I will admit I got it on sale. We place a budget for gifts and it would be a combo anniversary gift and birthday gift.) So in the past year she has placed a lot of free games for the Android via Amazon and more importantly she has bought games for the tablet via Amazon.

a FEW weeks ago she notice it was harder to connect or open the games she bought using the amazon android app store. It has gotten worse she cannot get onto Amazon to download or buy any games she is locked out COMPLETELY now. And the only way she can get apps now is going to the "android app" center and downloading those apps. In order to buy she has to have one of those G-mail REAL name e-mail which would be shared with those playing the same games as her.

I think we will be looking for a new tablet for my wife IF these issues cannot be resolved.

Anyone else having these issues?

Yea, I have been having issues with my android tablet lately. It is really slow sometimes, and also slow to boot up. It is acting like a Windows computer that doesn't have enough RAM memory. I have been getting frustrated with it. It never did this stuff before. I have had to keep rebooting it until it finally settles down and works correctly.

Maybe it is a bug introduced by the last update? I have the latest "Kit Kat" version, and it worked fine before the last update.

didn't you post this a week or so ago thinking it was due to the net neutrality issue?

on the android side. We can't get a hold of anyone that came with my wife's android. I know that our family plan phones (cell phones) once had unlimited data for our phones and now they are saying we have to buy a new package to get any sort of data plan.

We have verizon internet for our home and we have notice when we try to stream netflix it is slow and if we watch too many episodes ( my wife will do marathon watching) we get kick off. We are trying to see more of season 2 of Netflix House of Cards and it isn't working out for us.

BUT it is really frustrating my wife-- who works more than 40 hours a week Who average 10 hours a day--it is frustrating that she cannot relax and play on her tablet.

Maybe I am a paranoid FREAK but I am trying to seek answers for her.

I come back with the question because all other roads seem to be dead ends. I am trying to figure this out. IF we can't get this thing to work right that's $70.00 we wasted and It is a lot of money for us! AND if we are going to be screwed by Net Neutrality being overturn like my wife believes. I want to know how badly we are going to be screwed.

is really terrible and now, all of a sudden, it won't connect to the internet. My iPad, iPhone, husband's Nexus and the computers are all working. Called Lenovo, between many disconnects, they couldn't help beyond telling us how to do a factory reset, which we already did. Guess we need to send it off for repair. Could be a hardware thing since the reset didn't fix the problem.

All I can say is if you're in the market for a new tablet, don't get a Lenovo lol

13. I've had a google nexus 7 for about 6 months now..and yeah, I have 'issues'.

I love the nexus 7, it's working great.....that aside, on to my issues.

I'm really sick of stuff being packaged in super-strong-plastic stuff. I shouldn't need a tool to open up a damn pack of batteries..that's just bullshit. I have an issue with that.

And when I walk into a store, and walk back out without buying anything, it just means I didn't find what I wanted to buy. It doesn't mean I just stole something. Maybe I'm uber-sensitive, but sometimes I think people are looking at me with accusatory glances. I have an issue with that.

And so what if I think the latest issue of The Sporting News is awesome? I have an issue with getting judged about that.
