Bad Judgment: Judge keeps man having heart attack in jury

fucking asshole.

A man sitting in a pool of jurors began experiencing a medical emergency, but the judge told him he had to wait.

"I think it's a complete disregard for public safety," said Patrick Cullen, NYS Supreme Court Officers Association.

In this case, he is referencing the safety of a juror at a gun possession trial, in the Queens Criminal Courthouse.

According to an incident report from last Thursday, a man in the pool of jurors was suddenly having chest pains.

"My understanding is, he was clutching his chest, and heaving, and breathing heavily," Cullen said.

It was Justice Joel Blumenfeld's courtroom, and according to the report, when a court officer suggested the juror be removed from the jury box, the judge wanted to wait saying, "The DA has two more questions."

The officer got a supervisor and they asked again, and the judge said, "DA has two minutes left."

If it wasn't so much about real life and possibly death, this shit would be funny.
