Today is the 101st anniversary of the Washington, D.C. Woman Suffrage Parade of 1913

organized and led by Alice Paul. Alice Paul's work was most recently portrayed in the movie, "Iron Jawed Angels." You should watch it if you haven't and then you should read some of Alice Paul's writings and the history of the suffrage movement. Then, you should join with others in keeping the work alive. It's just as important now as it was then.
