"January was the fourth warmest January on record. Not really a tough sell at all to anyone who looks beyond anecdotal experience for data..."

That's pretty much all I have to say to anyone who thinks this winter is "evidence" of the myth or exaggeration of climate change.

I saw that several places have set new records for cold temps this winter.

As I mentioned below, people tend to think of their own little patch as being the entire planet, and thus their experience isn't an accurate picture.

It's been really summer like and dry in California with record warm weather.

In reality this takes into account conditions around the globe, and those cold recrds, they are part of the more extreme weather climate change predicts.

United States - 1.9%
Australia -1.5%
Russia - 3.5%
Canada - 2%
China - 1.9%

So, whatever may be happening in your neck of the woods, or even nationwide, it's small potatoes as far as planetary temperature trends.

The hard part is people being so myopic that they think their tiny little fraction of the globe is representative of the whole.
