Russian UN ambassador says "not our task to return Yanukovych to power. We know he won't come back

to his mansion although we acknowledge him as president."

Looks like Yanukovych really has pissed Putin off with his poor performance. He is not getting Russian support to get back in office. Given how ineffective he has been (from Putin's perspective) over the past few months, it's no wonder that Russia would like to see someone else in office rather than Yanukovych.

Maybe he's giving it to Russia. Or already did. Or it's frozen in Swiss accounts...who knows?

Especially since they have no use for him in terms of returning to power in Ukraine. What good is he to them?

Frankly, I suspect some of his dosh came in the form of a bribe to abandon EU plans and embrace Russian dominance.

Yanakovich has funneled tens of billions of $ from the Ukrainian treasury and should be put away for life. But I guess Russia is the natural hiding place of traitors.
